- • First and fore most. This is a REALISTIC role playing site. This means that your wolf must just be a wolf. Plain and simply. No wings, no magical powers, no unnatural fur colors. Nothing. Now, there are a few common mistakes that people believe are realistic. Wolves cannot climb trees, retract their claws, and your wolf must be balanced. If you wolf is large, he will probably have great strength. That means, however, he will be lacking in speed. Keep things realistic.
• All photos used on this site are to be of one of these three species. Timber/Gray, Eurasian, or Arctic. Maned wolves, Mexican wolves, and such will NOT be accepted. Your picture must resemble one of the three species stated. Of course, we have no way to tell for sure if the breed you state is correct, but it must look like it.
• All photos on this site must be exactly that, photos. No hand drawn images, anime, or animated wolves. The only photo shopping allowed is on the eye color of a wolf. Eyes for a wolf may be these colors: Sapphire, Light blue, Teal, Jade, Green, Yellow, Golden, Brown, Amber, and Hazel. No white, purple, or red eyes allowed.
• At this time, members may only join as TWO adult or apprentice wolf (one female and one male, or two males due to the lack of male wolves) unless you have been given a request to join the rouges (more about this later in the rules). No pups or pregnant wolves are being accepted for the time being.
• We do accept blind wolves here, but there is a limit to how many allowed and the positions will be granted by myself and the admin. Only an extremely literate wolf can pull off role playing a wolf without sight. Current Blind Wolves: None.
• Please stay active. If you must leave for an extended amount of time please post in the 'Leave of Absence' forum. If you are inactive for more than two weeks without notice, your membership will be put under surveillance. If you leave for an extended amount of time without notice, your account may be subject to deletion.
• Minor fowl language is accepted, but remember that we are role playing wolves. They do not use the same curses as we do. As proof that you have read our rules, put 'I will follow.' in your joining information. This is a PG 13 site. If anything skips over that border, it will be violence and possibly pup birthing. Do not go in depths of how your wolves mate. Time skips are appreciated.
• You are not allowed to play as another member's wolf. This is called Ghosting, and is strictly forbidden. Only by permission of that wolf or a site Admin may a wolf be played by another member. A member doing so without permission will be deleted. No if ands or buts.
• How many wolves may you play? A member may join only as two wolves. You may only roleplay wolves that branch from those two starting character. Your starting characters children and grandchildren. If you are caught creating a third wolf without permission all of your characters are subject to deletion at the admins digression. Members who display an ability to follow the rules and an elevated literacy skill may be allowed another character unrelated to their first.
• The rouges of FH will be hand picked by myself and my admin. We will choose the members of the rouges based on activity, literacy, and, well, respect. If you wish to join, you may pm me and the admin the rouge application on the join us section. We will then decide based on this and your posts and activity on the site whether you are deserving of the position or not.
• Absolutely NO powerplaying/ godmobbing. Wolves get hurt in a battle, they cannot dodge every attack from a wolf of equal ability. If you are caught doing this, you will be deleted on the spot.
• As we are a more advanced role play, we ask that members brush up on their skills before joining. We have a 500 word minimum, and, although we do accept all levels of literacy, we expect this to rule to be followed. We also want detail, good grammar, and great spelling. If you cannot keep up this mantra, please reconsider joining our site. We ask that you word count every post, and we would very much like it if you could post more, but keep an idea of how much you are posting and word check it if you aren't sure it meets the requirements.
• All wolves may request a rank, but is up to the Alphas what rank you receive. The requested rank is not the rank you will always get. You must understand that ranks are gifted to members. If you have read up to here, put 'you to the death.' in your joining info as well. So you may request the rank of Beta, but be placed as a Zet because of refusal to submit properly. Submission, respect, and pride are to be taken into careful consideration.
• You must ask your Alpha, and/or myself before you mate. In character, and out of character. The same goes for breeding. Wolves in nature are very specific as to when they choose mates and breed with them. Of course, you may not ask your Alpha in character to cause drama, but you MUST ask them out of character. Any wolf who doesn't is subject to deletion.
• The Administration and I have the right to add rules at any point in time.
