- The Alpha's word is law unless both the Beta and the Sigma question his/her health.
Whenever wolves of varying ranks hunt, the wolf of higher ranking eats first.
Proper submission mest be shown each time you are greeted or greet a higher rank.
You are never to speak with the Alpha directle unless A. Joining the pack. B. Have an emergency, or C. Are an Iota.
Submission may be demaned at any time by higher ranking wolves. These wolves must obey or face treason by council.
Higher ranking wolves may injure the Omegas. They may not be stopped unless a wolf of higher ranking than them tell them not to.
- It is only proper for wolves of the same higher ranking (Iota, Tau, and Chi) to mate. Any other mating pairing is considered disgraceful and will be brought to the council for decision.
Every member of the Iota (excluding the Sigma and Council if they wish) mate with another wolf every winter or spring. This mating process is not a commitment, only a supply of extra wolves to the ranks. Pups from strong positions such as Alpha, Beta, and Delta are needed each year to keep the pack strong.
The Alpha mates first, then the Beta, then the Delta. Only strong and/or strong wolves will be allowed to mate, as strong and intelligent wolves are needed.
When a wolf becomes pregnant, they are stripped of their rank until until their pups are born and placed into the care of another mother, or turn 6 months-1 year of age. This does not apply to Iota and Tau unless they have a pair to take their place.
Mating and bonding are different, even though a bonded couple are referred to as mates. Bonding is when two wolves mate for life. Bonding pairs must recieve the blessing from the Alpha before becoming mates. When a ceremony will be held for the bonding of wolves.
- Whenever someone is promoted to an Iota rank, there is to be a celebratory pack hunt. In this case, the promoted wolf eats first.
Whenever an animal is killed, its heart is removed and left where the animal was killed. This shows dominance over the rouges and also pays respect to the fallen animal.
When a mating ceremony is to take place, the Alpha will call a meeting. He/she will choose a mating partner first, then the rest of the Iota will mate in ascending rank. Then, bonded pairs that have gained the approval of the council can mate. Then, any male of the Tau rank may request their pair to mate with them. Then, any male or female may request. This pairing must gain the council and Alphas' approval. Mating will take place after this ceremony at anytime within the next month.
These sort of meetings will be held once every winter and spring. Iotas only have to mate once a year, but they may mate more than once. Winter pups are born in the spring. Spring pups are born in the Summer.
